Degrees: Bachelor of Science in Teacher Education and a Science Endorsement from Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, MI.
Career Path: Taught 10 years at Algoma Christian School, Kent City, MI. She has been at Algoma Christian School since 1999. She also worked in local public and private schools as a long-term substitute teacher.
Courses Taught: Currently teaches Fourth Grade at Algoma Christian School. She also taught in a middle school self-contained classroom.
Personal Information: Married to Dean and has one daughter attending Algoma Christian School.

Other Interests & Pursuits: I love to watch college football and I am a big fan of Penn State. One of our family goals is to visit all 11 Big Ten football stadiums. I enjoy traveling as well. I love nature and all that God has created. One of my favorite things to do is to visit the beach and watch and listen to the waves.
Comments: I am so excited to be a part of God’s work at Algoma Christian School. I enjoy teaching and sharing my life with children. I pray that each day the students would see Christ through me. My greatest joy is to see children come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and grow like Him each day.
