- Whole numbers to 1 million, unit/non-unit fractions, and decimals to thousandths
- Addition/subtraction: multiple digit regrouping, estimating/rounding, decimals, and fractions
- Time: units of time, telling time, and time estimation
- Graph/Tables: bar, line, picture, ordered pairs/grids, and tables
- Measurements: customary units metric units, comparing, converting, operations
- Multiplication/Division: basic facts to 12, by two-digit numbers and decimals
Science
ABEKA curriculum expanded by the teacher.
- Insects: identify many different insects, insect collection project, labeling body parts of insects, stages of development, and characteristics of different insects
- Plants: classifying plants and tress, labeling party of flowers, and importance of plants and trees
- Birds: identifying different types of birds, labeling body parts of a bird’s body, and a bird report on the 50 state birds
- Skeletal/Digestive Systems: identifying the party of the body which involve these systems and understanding the importance of these systems to the body
- Oceanography: identifying fish, mammals, and invertebrates found in our oceans, tides, waves, sand, underwater land forms, and ocean exploration.
- Astronomy: identifying stars and star constellation, planets, sun, moon, astronauts and space exploration, and the seven-day creation of God.
History

States of American
- American history from Explorers/Native Americans to Pioneers
- Recite and memorize American documents
- Michigan’s history, government, cities and counties, environment, symbols, economics, and tourism
- U.S., North American, and European geography
- Memorization of all 50 states and capitols
Enrichment Classes
Students will attend chapel, art, computer, music, and Spanish classes one time per week and PE two times per week.
Fourth Grade Highlights
- State capitol trip to Lansing
Field trip includes visiting capitol building/legislation and Michigan Historical Museum
- Charleton Park Museum Field Trip
Field Trip includes visiting an outdoor colonial village, making candles and butter, and preparing homemade soup.

- Reenacting a famous person after reading their biography
