Algoma Christian School does not discriminate in its admission policies on the basis of race, nationality or ethnicity, or in its administration of educational policies, extracurricular and athletic programs, financial aid awards, or any other school-administered programs.  

​However, as a Christian school, we reserve the right to admit only those families who support our mission and values. Our goal is to support Christian parents in training their children to be well-equipped followers of Christ. We believe that making committed Christian disciples of our own children is the first and foremost application of the Great Commission. Therefore, we admit children from families who subscribe to our Statement of Faith and agree to abide by the school handbook. 

Procedure

We ask every family to review the material on this website and then visit our school to see it in operation and meet our staff. If you are satisfied that the school is a good fit for you and your children, then you may apply using our online application. Once you have submitted the forms, you will be contacted for an interview to discuss your application in more detail. The administration will contact you in writing to indicate whether your family has been accepted. At that point, you will complete the online registration and submit your registration fee and/or tuition payment to confirm your child's enrollment.

Waiting Pool

If an applicant meets the admission requirements for enrollment but is applying for enrollment in a grade that is full, the applicant will be placed in a waiting pool for his/her grade level. Unlike a waiting list, a waiting pool does not imply a “first come first served” commitment on the part of the school. When vacancies do occur, the superintendent will select from students in the waiting pool based on a variety of criteria.
